Why'd You Post That?

A television host (Kevin Hart) mocks guests (Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, and Kyle Mooney) who make dumb Instagram postings. The sketch was plagued with technical issues from the start: When Kevin first introduced Vanessa, the flatscreen television next to him jumped to a jumble of the current camera shot, causing video feedback. The live shot switched to Vanessa, but Kevin's next line was to ask Vanessa about the Instagram post onscreen, while the screen had gone black. As a result, they were forced to ad-lib several lines before Vanessa simply started describing what the post was supposed to be. The screen came to life after a minute. Then, the couch on which Vanessa sat was supposed to be dragged through a set of doors in the wall, but as it moved backward, it hit the doorway and became stuck, requiring the people dragging it to shimmy it side-to-side to get it through the opening. Later, when Aidy was pulled through the wall, the doors did not close fully, and could be seen partially open behind Kyle as he entered. NBC used the dress rehearsal cut for the Hulu version, though Hart flubs many of his lines in that recording, and Vanessa's couch becomes stuck even worse (a hand can be seen reaching through the doorway to free it).
