Saturday Night Find is a search tool for the Saturday Night Live sketch catalog. It unifies data from three community archives, adds generated tags and summaries so sketches can be found by premise rather than title, and links to official uploads only. It is not affiliated with NBC Universal or Saturday Night Live.

SNL Archives

The primary source for episode segment order, per-segment cast lists, recurring sketch mappings, character-to-performer linkage and impression indexes, for every season from the first to the current one. A decades-long labor of love, and the reason this catalog is possible at all. Its written descriptions are used as input to summarization and are never displayed here.

SNL Fandom Wiki

Community-curated per-sketch cast detail, character names and descriptions. Descriptions taken from it are shown verbatim, with a link back to the page they came from and to the license. Contributions belong to their authors.

Wikipedia

Episode air dates, hosts and musical guests, cross-referenced against the other two sources, and descriptions under the same terms as the Fandom wiki.

NBC Universal

Rights holder

All sketch content is the property of NBC Universal. Videos play from the official SNL YouTube channel; nothing is re-hosted here.

Descriptions

Where a sketch has a description from the Fandom wiki or Wikipedia, that description is shown as its authors wrote it, with a link to the page it came from and to the CC BY-SA license. Some descriptions are written for this site rather than taken from anywhere; those are credited to Saturday Night Find and link here, and we offer them under the same CC BY-SA license, so you are free to reuse them with attribution. Where a sketch has neither, a generated summary appears instead, labeled as one. Descriptions from SNL Archives are never shown. Tags and title aliases are generated throughout. Early seasons have sparse metadata, so their entries are thinner, and errors happen. We are constantly working to improve catalog quality.

Takedown requests

Rights holders can request removal of any entry. Send the address of the page, the material at issue, the right you assert in it, and how to reach you, to [email protected]. Entries are removed on receipt of a good-faith request and stay out of the catalog until the matter is settled; you will get a reply saying what was done. The takedown page carries the full process.
