Weekend Update with Dennis Miller

Robert Downey Jr. and Anthony Michael Hall review WIlliam F. Buckley’s novel High Jinx by making a bunch of fart noises. The audience is laughing, but this was just seen by many SNL fans as stupid and repetitive; the whole “we didn’t read it” angle felt a little too obvious as well, to some SNL viewers. Miller’s comment about the boys writing their bit themselves was a little funny, though. A. Whitney Brown returns to put Libya and terrorism into the Big Picture, with some digs about the ease of Grenada, nobody defending Libya and the French selling crappy military equipment to everybody.
