The Thumper Family
No official uploadThis sketch has no video on the official SNL YouTube channel. Full episodes stream on Peacock.
The Thumper family follows the Bambi-derived rule that if you can't say something nice, you shouldn't say anything at all, forcing them into halting, censored conversation. Dwayne Thumper, played by Matthew Broderick, joins his parents and sister as they navigate encounters with a principal and a landscaper under this rule.
