SNL Newsbreak with Brian Doyle-Murray and Christine Ebersole

After ending up at the wrong network on assignment, Mary asks Brian to time her dash to get to CBS. Tim Kazurinsky offers commentary on the adverse effects of giving a child a bad name. Joe Piscopo reports on all the trades the Yankees have experienced under Steinbrenner's leadership. Lastly, Eddie Murphy is supposed to comment on NASA's first black astronaut, but goes off on the idea that white people are more like monkeys than black people. Eddie uses a crew member (writer Barry W. Blaustein)'s hairy chest and The Monkees theme song as evidence.
