Another "Behind the Scenes" set change from the Cold Opening to the Monologue for the 50th Anniversary season of Saturday Night Live livestream, presented by T-Mobile. A Film by Please Don't Destroy is announced in the opening montage, but does not appear in this episode. It was later posted online for Cut for Time. Also, the musical guests/hosts' introduction clips of the opening montage were changed back to three for the rest of the season and the colors of the rectangles were changed back to navy blue again, for this episode (for host and musical guest Charli XCX).
