Opening Montage

The new opening montage for this season is revamped from the one used for the past two years; it was filmed at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City and a brand-new logo was introduced, it features modern and angular lettering, it pays a tribute to the show's original typography by brining back the distinctive lowercase 'n' from season 1 and the theme song—which mashes up elements of the 2003-2006 theme in the beginning with elements of the 2018-2022 theme towards the end—is played at a faster pace, additionally, 8 longtime cast members are gone from the intro, since they left the show prior to this season. Similar to the previous intros where we see the cast in different places in New York, this intro features the cast in various places inside a New York hotel. Also in the new opening montage, no cast members are wearing masks, since COVID restrictions had died down since the last intro. First credits for new cast members Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker, who were all hired as featured players to replace the departing veterans. Meanwhile, Andrew Dismukes and Punkie Johnson were both promoted to repertory status this season.
